In addition to the well-loved Strawberry Festival, Sandy Spring Museum will host the Route 108 Fall Festival on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from noon – 6pm.

The day will be filled with amazing bluegrass music, jazz bands, craft beer, wine tastings, food trucks, a local juried art show, one-of-a-kind music workshops, and an after-party where the music may last well into the night!

Situated on 7 lush acres in the heart of one of the last frontier small-towns, Sandy Spring Museum is a unique venue that presents an opportunity for friends and families to spend time together and reconnect in America’s great outdoors.

Headlining this year’s main stage will be a 21st Century string band and bluegrass favorite, Mr. Sun; featuring legendary fiddler Darol Anger, guitar phenom, Grant Gordy, redoubtable mandolinist Joe K. Walsh, and young bass virtuso Ethan Jodziewicz.

Back by popular demand will be jazz virtuoso Paul Bollenback. New performers are being added to the line up, so check back often for updates. We welcome musicians of all types to attend as guests and bring their instruments – and experience something unexpected as you participate in the improvisation jam sessions inside Sandy Spring Museum’s Courtyard. Fiddlers, banjo, harmonica, wind, horns, strings…all are most welcome.
